Don’t miss the wood-fired kiln baked bread

Located at Dali Visitor Center, Hexiangju Bakery is a must-visit spot for those exploring the Caoling Trail, visiting Qingyuan Temple, or heading to the Dali Seawall. The bakery offers rare wood-fired treats that are worth a try.

The bread is made without artificial additives, using a natural fruit-fermented sourdough and baked in a wood-fired oven, giving it a unique aroma and chewy texture that becomes more flavorful with each bite. While the product selection is not a lot, all are signature items.

Their wood-fired “Huzibei” bread, pizza, and handmade cookies, all made with care. Hexiangju has earned the internationally recognized “GTS Green Travel Label” for sustainability, making it a bakery worth supporting.
